The Story

Seeking the absolute best of the 2024 autumn colors, I hiked up Noonmark Mountain, known for offering one of the greatest effort-to-reward ratios in the Adirondacks. The relatively easy ascent opens up to this massive, 360-degree vantage point of the High Peaks region. The conditions were perfect, and I spent two hours at the summit just soaking in the crisp afternoon air, watching the cloud shadows roll across the vibrant, foliage-covered valleys.
